Semangat Muda Indonesia Successfully Conducts Academic Visit to Prince of Songkla University, Thailand

The academic and educational visit organized by the Semangat Muda Indonesia Foundation was successfully held at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Hat Yai Campus, on Friday (23/5). This initiative served as an important step in broadening perspectives and providing access to international study opportunities for Indonesian students.

The event, which took place from 09.00 to 11.00 a.m. local time, was attended by 76 delegates consisting of high school students, university students from various majors, and representatives from youth organizations across Indonesia. The delegation was led by Siti Nur Azizah, a lecturer and President of Semangat Muda Indonesia Foundation, who has been actively advocating for youth empowerment through international education programs.

Agenda and Purpose of the Visit

The visit began with a warm welcome from the university, followed by a presentation on PSU’s international programs. Delegates received comprehensive information about available scholarships, student exchange opportunities, and research programs open to international students, including those from Indonesia.

An interactive discussion session also took place, where participants asked questions related to admission procedures, academic requirements, and potential collaborations in education, social initiatives, and research.

Hopes and Impact

According to Siti Nur Azizah, the visit was expected to inspire Indonesian youth to be more confident in pursuing higher education abroad.

“We want to provide young people with firsthand experience so they gain motivation, insight, and wider access to global education opportunities. Through this visit, we hope to see more Indonesian youth ready to compete and contribute on the international stage,” she stated.

This activity reflects the commitment of the Semangat Muda Indonesia Foundation to serve as a bridge for Indonesian students in exploring global education opportunities, while also strengthening academic relations between Indonesia and Thailand.
